Position Description: The Trade Finance Operations Analyst will be responsible for endtoend processing of Trade Finance products, including Documentary Trade, Open Account Trade, and Supply Chain Finance (SCF) transactions. The role requires strong operational expertise, adherence to international trade rules, and accurate processing within agreed SLAs.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Trade Finance Operations
Handle endtoend processing of Trade Finance products across Trade Operations and Supply Chain Finance.
Process issuance, amendments, extensions, cancellations, and closures for relevant trade transactions.
Perform document checking and validation as per applicable trade rules and internal policies.
Support claim processing, investigations, and discrepancy resolution.
SWIFT Operations
Prepare, review, and release SWIFT messages such as MT series ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Compliance & Regulatory Requirements
Ensure adherence to URDG 758, ISP98, UCP 600, AML/KYC guidelines, and internal compliance policies.
Identify operational risks and escalate issues proactively.
Operational Excellence
Monitor operational queues and ensure strict SLA and TAT adherence.
Maintain accurate records, MIS, and operational documentation.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, correspondent banks, and clients for smooth transaction processing.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Banking, or related field.
24 years of relevant experience in Trade Finance Operations and Supply Chain Finance.
MustHave Skills:
Strong knowledge of Trade Finance Operations and SCF processes.
Handson experience in handling core Trade Finance products.
Good understanding of international trade rules and compliance requirements (URDG 758, UCP 600, ISP98).
Proficiency in SWIFT messaging standards.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and risk awareness.
Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
