Job Description

• Listen to and transcribe audio recordings from physicians and other healthcare providers.
  
• Edit and review medical documents for accuracy, grammar, and clarity.
  
• Ensure transcriptions meet established standards for medical accuracy, style, and formatting.
  
• Identify inconsistencies or errors and flag or correct them as needed.
  
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems to enter and manage documentation.
  
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and institutional privacy policies.
  
• Stay updated on medical terminology, procedures, and healthcare documentation requirements.
  
• Collaborate with medical staff to clarify dictation as necessary.
