Job Summary

The Company Serviced Head (Business Development Head) will lead business growth by driving market expansion, signing profitable properties, and managing a high-performing business development team. This role is responsible for achieving revenue, margin, and supply targets through strategic planning, partnerships, and strong execution.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic Planning & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth goals
  • Identify new markets, expansion opportunities, and competitive trends
  • Track market shifts, pricing dynamics, and new product launches

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Managers
  • Set targets, monitor performance, and ensure consistent achievement of KPIs
  • Coach the team on lead generation, negotiations, and deal closures

Property Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with property owners, real estate brokers, and channel partners
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close high-value property sign-ups
  • Maintain long-term, profitable associations with property owners

Revenue & Profitability Ownership

  • Drive monthly targets for sellable rooms signed and made live
  • Ensure gross margin and profitability benchmarks are met for signed properties
  • Monitor unit economics and improve property performance post-onboarding

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with Operations, Transformation, Legal, and Central teams
  • Ensure smooth property onboarding and SLA adherence
  • Conduct periodic reviews and resolve operational or compliance issues

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of sellable rooms signed and activated per month
  • Gross margin generated from onboarded properties
  • Team target achievement and productivity metrics

Education & Experience

Qualification

  • Graduation required
  • MBA preferred

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales leadership
  • Prior team handling experience is mandatory
  • Exposure to hospitality, real estate, or allied sectors preferred
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, negotiations, and stakeholder management

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent negotiation and deal-closing abilities
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with data-driven decision making
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven startup environment
  • Proficiency in ERP/App usage, MS Excel, and professional email communication
