Key Responsibilities:
A. Site Safety Management
Ensure strict adherence to company safety policies and statutory norms at all construction sites.
Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.
Implement corrective and preventive measures in coordination with project and contractor teams.
Ensure availability and proper usage of PPE and safety equipment.
B. Audit, Inspection & Compliance
Conduct periodic construction safety audits and submit reports with
actionable recommendations.
Verify statutory compliance related to scaffolding, electrical safety, working at height, lifting operations, and confined space work.
Maintain records of all site inspections, observations, and corrective action closures.
C. Training & Awareness
Conduct toolbox talks, induction programs, and safety training
sessions for workers, supervisors, and contractors.
Promote safety awareness and culture through regular communication and engagement.
D. Incident Reporting & Investigation
Investigate all near-miss, unsafe acts, and incidents to identify root causes.
Prepare detailed investigation reports and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
E. Coordination & Documentation
Coordinate with Project, Fire & Safety, and HR teams for safety initiatives and compliance tracking.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of safety audits, training attendance, inspection checklists, and statutory permits.
