Medical Coding Fresher @ SACM Medical Coding

Job Description

The role involves validating and coding medical data accurately for billing and compliance with relevant standards. You will be responsible for reviewing physicians records, updating medical data, submitting claims, and resolving insurance-related issues in accordance with coding regulations.

Requirements

• Any graduation (B.Sc / M.Sc / B.Tech) with clearance of all subjects.
• Preference for life science students (Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Validate physicians medical records and charge data for compliance with billing regulations.
• Communicate with physicians to confirm and update charges.
• Assign accurate diagnostic and CPT codes according to ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding standards.
• Review and update coding database annually.
• Resolve insurance denials and verify coverage.
• Consult with physicians regarding coding adjustments and reimbursements.
• Submit claims with proper documentation for timely reimbursements.
