Job Description
Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Oracle Fusion Financials Architect will be responsible for shaping, positioning, and presenting Oracle Fusion Financials solutions during the sales cycle. The role provides functional credibility, solution leadership, and value articulation to win deals, working closely with sales, delivery, and client finance leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Shape and position Oracle Fusion Financials solutions during sales pursuits
- Lead finance solution discussions with CFOs and senior stakeholders
- Design high-level Oracle Fusion Financials architecture and scope
- Deliver client presentations, demos, and whiteboarding sessions
- Own finance solution inputs for RFP/RFI responses
- Provide effort estimates, assumptions, and delivery approach
- Position Oracle Cloud value vs SAP and legacy ERPs
- Ensure solution feasibility and smooth handover to delivery
- Create and maintain reusable pre-sales assets
- Stay current with Oracle Fusion Financials roadmap and releases
- Strong experience in ERP pre-sales, solutioning, and deal shaping
- Proven ability to engage CFOs, Finance Controllers, CIOs, and senior stakeholders
- Excellent presentation, storytelling, and whiteboarding skills
- Expertise in scope definition, effort estimation, and RFP/RFI responses
- Ability to articulate business value, ROI, and competitive positioning
- Balance sales objectives with delivery feasibility and risk awareness
- Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expenses, Intercompany, Budgetary Control)
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, controls, and period close
- Experience designing Chart of Accounts, ledgers, calendars, and multi-currency structures
- Knowledge of statutory and regulatory compliance (IFRS / Ind-AS)
- High-level understanding of integrations and data migration (OIC, REST, FBDI, HDL)
- Familiarity with Oracle reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View)
- Awareness of Oracle Cloud architecture, security, and quarterly release cycles
Oracle Cloud Expertise: Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Applications, including configuration, customization, and integration with other Oracle products. Multi-Platform Design: Experience with designing technical solutions that can run on multiple platforms, composed of multiple software packages, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Security Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with quality, performance, availability, and security standards for Oracle Applications, ensuring solutions meet these requirements.
