The Seller Acquisition & onboarding team is the backbone of the Marketplace

Global Onboarding & Sales Funnels: Engineering robust pipelines to bring millions of diverse sellers onto our marketplace with minimal friction.

Intelligent Activation Flows: Building automated, data-driven workflows that accelerate seller time-to-market and drive early-stage success.

Full-Lifecycle Program Management: Designing complex tools and services that allow for the sophisticated management of seller programs at a massive global scale.

As part of Seller Acquisition & onboarding, you will tackle distributed systems challenges, optimize global integrations, and define the architectural standards specifically within the Salesforce ecosystem that empower our marketplace to thrive internationally.
What You ll Do

Architectural Leadership: Design and deploy enterprise-grade, full-stack solutions that act as the primary system of record for global operations.

Technical Strategy: Lead the transition from reactive task execution to proactive, "agent-aware" architectures, identifying efficiency gaps before they impact the business.

Hybrid Engineering: Own and write high-performance code across the stack, utilizing Java and Python to build robust middleware and backend services.

Infrastructure & Cloud: Manage and optimize cloud connectivity specifically within GCP or AWS using tools like Dataflow, Pub/Sub, or BigQuery to power real-time data synchronization.
Mentorship & Excellence: Serve as an "Example of Excellence," guiding the team s technical evolution and fostering a culture of "Quality at Source" through rigorous code reviews and global engineering standards
What You ll bring
Core Technical Mastery

Polyglot Development: 9+ years of professional experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Python (FastAPI/Django). Expertise in memory management, concurrency models, and multithreading.

Full-Stack Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or Angular) coupled with a deep understanding of state management and responsive design.
Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS/GCP)

Cloud-Native Architecture: Proven track record in building serverless and containerized applications using AWS Lambda/Fargate or GCP Cloud Run/GKE.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Mastery of Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation for managing immutable infrastructure.

Reliability Engineering: Experience implementing the Circuit Breaker pattern, Retry logic with exponential backoff, and Bulkheading to ensure system resilience.
Distributed Systems & Data

High-Volume Messaging: Deep expertise in event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Google Pub/Sub for asynchronous processing.

Database Excellence: Advanced proficiency in both SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB/MongoDB/Cassandra). Understanding of schema design, indexing strategies, and query optimization.

Observability & Tracing: Experience with distributed tracing (Open Telemetry, Jaeger) and centralized logging (ELK stack or Datadog) to monitor complex request paths.
Security & Governance

Identity Management: Implementation of robust auth protocols including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and JWT-based stateless authentication.

Security First: Expert knowledge of web security best practices (OWASP Top 10), including SQL injection prevention, XSS mitigation, and data encryption at rest and in transit.
Strategic & Leadership Skills

System Design: Ability to architect systems for global scale, handling trade-offs between consistency and availability (CAP Theorem).

Modern DevOps: Mastery of CI/CD orchestration (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI) and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
