Job Title
SailPoint Engineer / Developer
Role Summary
We are looking for a SailPoint Engineer / Developer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing identity governance solutions using SailPoint (IIQ / IdentityNow). The role requires strong Java-based development, connector integrations, and a solid understanding of enterprise IAM architectures, cloud integrations, and access governance workflows.
This role is deliverycentric and requires close collaboration with security architects, application owners, and compliance teams.
Key Responsibilities
SailPoint Development & Implementation
- Design, develop, and customize SailPoint solutions (IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow).
- Implement JoinerMoverLeaver (JML) workflows, access request, approvals, certifications, and provisioning flows.
- Develop and customize:
- Workflows
- Rules
- Lifecycle Events
- Policies
- Forms
- Identity Profiles
Integration & API Development
- Build and enhance application connectors using:
- REST / SOAP APIs
- JDBC
- SCIM
- File-based feeds
- Develop and consume APIs for integrating SailPoint with:
- HR systems (Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors)
- Active Directory / LDAP
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Enterprise applications (SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow)
Custom Development
- Perform Java-based development (Beans, Rules, Plugins).
- Develop custom provisioning logic, aggregation rules, and transformation logic.
- Troubleshoot and optimize SailPoint performance and scalability issues.
Governance & Compliance
- Implement and support:
- Access certifications
- SoD policies
- Role-based access control (RBAC)
- Support audit and compliance requirements (SOX, ISO 27001, SOC2).
Operations & Support
- Provide L2/L3 support for SailPoint platforms.
- Handle upgrades, patching, and environment migrations.
- Analyze logs, debug provisioning failures, and resolve production issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 35 years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Beans, and SailPoint rule development.
- Solid experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML.
- Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, and directory services.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with cloud IAM concepts and integrations (Azure AD, AWS IAM preferred).
- Experience with Git / version control and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
IAM & Security Knowledge
- Strong understanding of:
- Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)
- Least privilege & zero trust principles
- Access lifecycle management
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect preferred).
