Data Scientist (7+ Years) Gurgaon
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our growing analytics team. In this role, you will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI (GenAI) to solve complex business problems and drive data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy scalable AI solutions that create measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics, classification, and clustering use cases.
- Build and implement Generative AI solutions, including working with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and NLP-based applications.
- Collaborate with data engineers and software teams to productionize ML and GenAI models.
- Perform data wrangling, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and visualization to extract actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained models for domain-specific applications.
- Work with large and complex datasets to develop scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Communicate insights and model outcomes effectively to stakeholders across technical and business functions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Statistical Analysis, and Data Science methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python or R, along with strong SQL/NoSQL skills.
- Hands-on experience with Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and text analytics.
- Solid understanding of Generative AI concepts, including LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA), prompt engineering, and use-case development.
- Familiarity with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone) and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) frameworks.
- Experience working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, matplotlib, or seaborn.
- Experience with model deployment, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 710 years of relevant experience as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or similar role.
- Proven track record of building and deploying scalable ML and/or GenAI solutions in production environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with LLM frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Exposure to AI agents, embeddings, and GenAI-based applications.
- Contributions to open-source projects or published research in AI/Data Science.
