Automation Test Engineer UFT (Banking Domain)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with experience in UFT and Selenium (Java/Python) to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have strong testing fundamentals, exposure to Agile methodology, and experience in banking or financial services domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Selenium (Java/Python) and UFT
• Perform functional and regression testing
• Work with tools like ALM / JIRA / Bitbucket for test management and defect tracking
• Write and execute SQL queries for backend validation
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts in Agile (Scrum) environment
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline activities (Jenkins basic knowledge)
• Prepare test cases, test data, and reports

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver (Java or Python)
• Experience with UFT (QTP) & VB Scripting
• Strong knowledge of SQL / Oracle / Sybase
• Experience with ALM or JIRA
• Familiarity with Bitbucket / Git
• Understanding of Agile & DevOps concepts

Good to Have

• Experience in Investment Banking / Payments domain
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
• Exposure to API Testing (Postman/Rest Assured)

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / related field
