Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java + Selenium WebDriver.
- Develop and enhance automation frameworks (TestNG, Maven, POM).
- Execute functional, regression, sanity, and smoke test suites.
- Perform manual testing when required and ensure test coverage for all features.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Use Git for version control, code reviews, and collaboration.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Analyze test results, prepare reports, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Java programming (OOP concepts, collections, exception handling).
- Expertise in Selenium & Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with automation frameworks (POM, TestNG, BDD optional).
- Knowledge of build tools like Maven/Gradle.
- Experience with Git (branching, merging, pull requests).
- Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
- Solid understanding of functional & manual testing concepts.
- Experience with browsers, debugging tools, and automation best practices.
Soft Skills
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration ability.
- Ability to work independently and within Agile teams.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for quality.
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Experience with REST API testing (Postman/RestAssured).
- Knowledge of Docker, cloud testing platforms (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
- Experience with BDD tools (Cucumber).
