Business Operations Analyst @ Rackspace Technology

Role Overview 

We are hiring a Senior Business Operations Analyst to take ownership of forecasting, billing accuracy, and operational reporting across the business. 

This role plays a key part in how the business understands and manages revenue, costs, and performance. You will work closely with teams supporting customer delivery, Finance, and Sales to ensure numbers are accurate, issues are identified early, and decisions are backed by clear data. The role also focuses on improving how reporting and processes work overtime, working closely with Data Science and BI teams to improve reporting and data processes. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Own revenue forecasting (monthly/quarterly) and variance analysis 

• Own invoicing processes, resolve discrepancies, and support revenue recognition (accruals, adjustments) 

• Manage cost tracking, accruals, POs, and contractor costs 

• Own reporting (revenue, pipeline, utilization) 

• Build and improve Power BI dashboards and reporting models 

• Use automation/AI tools to improve workflows and data quality 

• Partner with delivery, Finance, and Sales stakeholders 

• Support business reviews and communicate insights clearly 

• Identify and drive process improvements and standardization 

Requirements 

• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or related field 

• 5+ years in operations, finance, or revenue roles 

• Advanced Excel and strong financial understanding 

• Experience with Power BI and data/reporting tools 

• Experience with systems (Salesforce, Certinia/FinancialForce, NetSuite, SAP) 

• Strong ownership, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management 

Nice to have: 

• Experience in services or project-based environments 

• Exposure to automation or AI tools 

• Experience improving operational processes
