Python Developer JD:

Role Summary

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with strong Python skills to design, build, and

operate the infrastructure that powers our engineering and productionadjacent environments.

You will:

• Own infrastructure automation and tooling using Python
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of core systems (compute, storage,

networking, virtualization, and/or Kubernetes)

• Work closely with engineering teams to simplify and automate how they consume

infrastructure services

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining systems engineering with software

development to remove toil and scale infrastructure.

What You Will Do

• Design, implement, and operate infrastructure services

Build and maintain Linuxbased server fleets (bare metal and/or virtualized)

Ensure systems meet defined SLAs/SLOs for availability and performance

Manage capacity planning, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle operations for infrastructure components

• Build automation and tools in Python

Develop Pythonbased tools and services for provisioning, configuration,monitoring, and selfservice workflows

Automate repetitive operational tasks (imaging, deployments, health checks, remediation) and reduce manual intervention

Integrate with internal and external APIs to orchestrate infrastructure workflows(compute, storage, network, cloud)

• Configuration management & Infrastructure as Code

Use tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar to manage infrastructure declaratively

Maintain reusable playbooks/modules and templates for common infrastructure patterns

Enforce configuration standards, security baselines, and repeatable deployments

across environments

5+ years of handson Python development for:

Automation scripts and tools

REST API integrations

Data collection, reporting, and operational tooling
