Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor DevOps team members with complete infrastructure management responsibility
- Participate as a stakeholder in application architecture, design reviews, and CI/CD pipeline development
- Conduct comprehensive code reviews (backend and frontend) and implement relevant testing protocols
- Perform advanced troubleshooting with deep architectural knowledge to resolve complex cloud application issues
- Execute thorough root cause analyses for recurring issues and implement preventive measures
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline operations and minimize manual intervention
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for configurations, troubleshooting, and resolutions
- Communicate effectively with clients on issue resolution progress and collaborate on preventive strategies
- Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards and data protection best practices
- Foster collaborative culture with internal teams, external stakeholders, and client teams
- Resolve production deployment issues and manage customer-identified infrastructure problems
Required Qualifications & Experience
7-12 years in DevOps engineering with hands-on expertise in Jenkins, AWS services, Kafka, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Bitbucket, Git, deployment strategies, documentation, root cause analysis, and customer engagement.
Cloud & Virtualization: Extensive experience with cloud-native SaaS development and virtualization technologies (AWS, ESXi, KVM, HyperV).
Architecture & Design: Proven expertise in distributed system design, microservice architecture, large-scale public cloud deployments, and IAM implementations.
Technologies & Tools: Strong proficiency in containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), CI/CD tooling (Jenkins), version control (Git, Bitbucket), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), observability tools (Kibana, Elasticsearch, Prometheus), and Linux OS.
Programming & APIs: Solid knowledge of Shell scripting, Python, REST APIs, and API gateway concepts.
Soft Skills: Self-directed with minimal supervision needed, strong problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, proven team player with global team experience.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent (Master's degree preferred).

- AWS and EKS certifications
- Advanced L4-L7 networking software design expertise
- Core networking concepts and protocols
- Message streaming technologies (Kafka, Zookeeper)
- Linux kernel internals and driver development
- SaaS application development experience
- Enterprise network security and application delivery controller knowledge
- Firewall solutions and threat protection systems expertise
