Civil Project Engineer - Transmission Line @ Tata Consulting

Job Description

Educational Qualification:

• B. E / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 yrs of experience in Engineering of Transmission Line Projects involving EHV voltage level of 220kV and above.
• Worked on two or more nos such projects
• Field experience related to the construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Transmission Lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Monitoring and maintaining record of progress of transmission line works including civil, erection, electrical works, testing and safety protocols followed at site.
• Verification of the construction works based drawings, Design and specifications of Transmission line material and equipment as per standards.
• Witnessing and recording the survey, tower foundation, tower erection, Conductor / Earth wire stringing, site testing and commissioning activities of Transmission line.
• Submission of progress of transmission line activities to Transmission line Expert on daily basis
• Review of design analysis and detailed construction drawings Vendor document reviews
• Coordination with site team for issue resolution

Key Skills Required:

• Experience in Construction supervision of Transmission Line in accordance with FQP and standards.
• Review of FQP for site activities.
• Experience in Site testing and commissioning activities of Transmission Line
• Familiar with substation equipment and systems designs.
• Knowledge of statutory standards.
