Job Description
Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Job Summary:
ACME Designers is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, contracts, and financial aspects of construction and interior projects. The candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, vendor coordination, and ensuring projects are completed within financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates for projects
- Conduct rate analysis and cost planning for construction/interior works
- Manage tendering process, vendor evaluation, and negotiations
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget
- Verify contractor bills and process RA (Running Account) bills
- Handle contract management and documentation
- Coordinate with architects, site engineers, and vendors
- Track material consumption and control wastage
- Prepare cost reports and financial progress updates
- Ensure compliance with company policies and project timelines
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costing
- Expertise in BOQ preparation and rate analysis
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying
- 45 years of relevant experience in construction/interior projects
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in interior design / architecture firms
- Knowledge of local market rates and vendors
- Exposure to residential and commercial projects
