Lighthouse Communities Foundation (LCF) is a non-profit organization working to enable underserved youth to access sustainable livelihoods and meaningful careers. Through its Lighthouse centers, LCF brings together government, corporates, NGOs, and citizens to provide skilling, career guidance, and placement opportunities.
With a strong presence across multiple cities and deep penetration in urban communities, LCF focuses on building youth agency and driving long-term socio-economic transformation.
Role Overview
LCF is seeking a driven and community-oriented Centre Head to lead Lighthouse centres and ensure effective delivery of skilling and livelihood programs. The role involves managing centre operations, driving enrollments and placements, leading a team, and building strong relationships with local stakeholders to achieve program outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram & Centre Management
- Lead end-to-end operations of the Lighthouse centre
- Ensure smooth implementation of programs from outreach to alumni engagement
- Create a safe, engaging, and youth-friendly learning environment
- Drive enrollments and ensure participant progression through program stages
Placements & Outcomes
- Ensure strong placement outcomes for youth
- Build and maintain employer partnerships
- Support candidates through interview preparation, job readiness, and placement processes
Team Leadership
- Manage and guide a team of 59 members
- Conduct regular reviews and ensure high performance
- Build team capability and ensure accountability
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate data on program activities and outcomes
- Analyze trends and identify improvement areas
- Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with government officials, NGOs, corporates, and community stakeholders
- Build partnerships for mobilization, placements, and program support
- Represent the centre in local networks and events
Community Engagement & Outreach
- Drive mobilization of youth from surrounding communities
- Conduct outreach activities and awareness initiatives
- Build trust and strong presence within the local community
Required Qualifications/Education
- Postgraduate / Graduate degree (MSW, Management, or related field preferred)
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in skilling, livelihood programs, or training centre management
- Experience in managing teams and driving program outcomes
Essential Skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in mobilization, placements, and stakeholder engagement
- Good data management and reporting skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to manage field challenges
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and local language (Marathi preferred)
