Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quality Engineer with experience in manual testing, automation testing using SeleniumCucumber, API testing using Postman, and authentication testing. The role involves ensuring high-quality software delivery by validating application functionality, security, and authentication workflows across web applications and APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications and APIs
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium and Cucumber
- Perform API testing using Postman, validating request/response data, status codes, and error handling
- Test and validate authentication and authorization workflows, including login, token validation, session handling, and access control
- Validate OAuth2 / OpenID Connect authentication flows and token-based authentication mechanisms
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports aligned with functional and security requirements
- Identify, log, and track defects through the defect management lifecycle
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Participate in test planning, requirement analysis, and release validation
Required Skills:
- Experience in manual testing of web applications.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium automation using Cucumber framework.
- Experience with API testing using Postman.
- Experience in authentication and authorization testing, including OAuth2/OpenID Connect based flows.
- Understanding of token-based authentication, session management, and access control testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Good to Have: Basic understanding of SQL for data validation.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with test management tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.
