Role & responsibilities

1. Cloud Platforms AWS Solid handson experience in core AWS services: Compute: EC2, Lambda, ECS (Fargate) Storage: S3, EFS Networking basics: VPC, Security Groups, IAM Serverless architecture fundamentals Monitoring & logging: CloudWatch, log forwarding to Splunk 2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Workinglevel proficiency in: Terraform AWS CloudFormation Writing reusable modules & templates Managing infrastructure lifecycle through IaC 3. CI/CD Engineering Practical experience designing and maintaining pipelines using: AWS CodePipeline CodeBuild / CodeDeploy GitHub Actions Integrating testing, build, deployment stages Understanding of Blue/Green deployment basics 4. Containerization & Orchestration Knowledge and handson use of: Docker Kubernetes fundamentals ECS Fargate deployments Building container images & optimizing Dockerfiles 5. Automation & Scripting Ability to automate tasks using: Python (Boto3) Shell scripting Writing scripts for operational automation, cost optimization, environment management 6. DevOps & Cloud Operations Experience with: Cloud infrastructure management Deployment automation Environment provisioning Implementing monitoring & logging solutions Supporting application teams in performance tuning 7. Cloud Security Basics Understanding of: IAM roles, policies & permission boundaries Secure configuration practices Logging & monitoring for security events 8. Version Control & Collaboration Git & GitHub Code review participation Working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments Using tools such as JIRA, Crucible, Fisheye 9. Problem Solving & Maintenance Troubleshooting cloud infra issues Debugging applications & deployments Improving system reliability and efficiency
