Job Title: Senior Consultant Presales - Banking/ Fintech Domain
Primary Domain: Banking, FinTech, Payments
Base Location: Mumbai, India (with extensive travel to APJ & other regions as needed)The Role: We are seeking an elite, hands-on Solution Architect to join our global BASS team. While your primary mission will be to spearhead our growth in the APJ & ME region's dynamic Banking, FinTech, and Payments sectors, your expertise as a senior Individual Contributor (IC) will be leveraged on our most complex deals globally (including India & MEA).
This is a front-line role for a professional with a strong consultative pre-sales background. You will be based in Mumbai, travelling frequently to architect and defend high-value, full-lifecycle digital assurance solutions for the world's leading financial institutions.
Core Mission: To personally architect and win large-scale Digital Assurance deals. You will be the hands-on creator of the solution that combine our Agentic AI accelerators, OEM platforms, and expert services, the proposal, and the presentation, acting as the credible, authoritative voice that convinces clients of our unique value.What You Will Own & Create:
- Lead Solution Defence: Serve as the lead strategist in high-stakes client meetings across APJ and other regions. You will build credibility by understanding of local market conditions, regulations, and business drivers and own the business narrative, confidently framing our technical architecture within a compelling value proposition to defend and win deals with C-level executives.
- Architect & Design Full-Lifecycle Solutions: Personally design comprehensive assurance strategies for banking digital transformation and core modernizations, integrating:
- Pre-Production: Functional & Non-Functional (performance).
- Post-Production: APM, Observability, SRE & Command Center operations.
- Craft and Author Winning Proposals: As the lead IC, you will drive the solutioning process, create robust effort estimations, and write the compelling technical narrative that makes our proposals stand out.
- Integrate a Multi-Platform Ecosystem: Craft solutions that leverage a combination of assets: in-house and OEM led Agentic AI accelerators, OEM tools for automation and post production (e.g., Katalon, UiPath, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Tricentis etc), and open-source frameworks.
- Develop Client-Facing Presentations: Build and deliver powerful, articulate presentations that translate complex technical solutions into clear business value for C-level audiences.
Required Experience & Competencies:
We are looking for a specific profile and will consider candidates who meets the domain criteria.
- Experience Level: 8-10+ years in the IT services industry, with a proven track record in a consultative pre-sale, solution architecture, or senior consulting role.
- Mandatory Regional Experience: Demonstrable experience working and winning deals in the APJ region, specifically within markets like the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, or Singapore.
- Client-Facing Acumen: Verifiable experience leading solution defence for large-scale managed services bids. You must have executive presence and exceptional cross-cultural communication skills.
- Holistic Technical Vision: You must have hands-on experience solutioning across the full pre-production to post-production lifecycle (QE, Performance, SRE, Observability).
Domain & Platform Expertise:
- Mandatory Domain Expertise: Non-negotiable, deep experience solutioning for the Banking, FinTech, or Payments sectors is required.
- Platform & Ecosystem Knowledge: Experience with digital banking architectures, payment gateways (e.g., understanding the ecosystem of players like Paypal, Stripe, Doku etc.), and core banking platforms (Temenos, Finacle, Flexcube, etc.), and regulators knowledge like BSP, BI, BOT, MAS etc..
- Additional Valued Expertise: Experience in Telecom or Insurance in addition to the mandatory banking/fintech background is highly advantageous.
