Job Description
Job Title: SAP Data and Analytics Architect
Role Overview
The SAP Data and Analytics Architect is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions within the SAP ecosystem. This role bridges business strategy and technical execution, ensuring that data architecture supports analytics, reporting, and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- SAP COE and Solution Response: As architect work on building solution response for customer requirement and build industry specific solution using SAP platform. Responsible for building competency for niche/modern technology area like SAP BDC
- Architect SAP Data Solutions: Design end-to-end data architecture using SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere and SAP Business data cloud.
- Presales: Client engagement, sales support, technical expertise in data integration and cloud solutions, and staying updated on SAP data innovations.
- Data Migration: Lead data migration efforts using SAP Data Services, SAP Migration Cockpit and Syniti/ Any 3rd party Tools.
- ETL & Integration: Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Analytics Enablement: Enable advanced analytics, dashboards, and KPIs using SAP Analytics Cloud and embedded analytics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
15+ years of experience in SAP Data & Analytics area with
- Strong expertise in SAP BW or BW/4HANA, SAP BDC, SAP Data Services, SAP HANA modelling, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Should experience in BW Migration to BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere / SAP BDC.
- Should have minimum 2 years of experience in presales function working as solution architect to build solutions for customer requirements including planning & estimation.
- Should have completed at least one BW/4HANA conversion project and one Datasphere /BDC implementation.
- Should have minimum two project experience in covering BW remediation (ECC & BW side) as part of S/4HANA conversion project.
- Should have experience in defining reporting strategy for SAP customer as part of S/4HANA transformation.
- Proficiency in SQL, ABAP (for data extraction), and data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of data governance, master data management (MDM), and metadata tools.
- Experience in building AI/GenAI solutions leveraging SAP BTP, SAP BDC & Databricks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge in data lakes, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and hybrid architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Certified Technology or Data Architect.
- Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
- Familiarity with AI/ML integration in SAP analytics.
- Exposure to Agile and DevOps methodologies.
