Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Cypress.
- Implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber for automated test scenarios.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Develop automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing.
- Identify, track, and report defects and quality issues effectively.
- Leverage AI-powered QA tools for activities such as test generation, defect prediction, test optimization, and productivity improvements.
Continuously improve test coverage, test data management, and automation efficiency. - Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience in Software Testing with strong QA fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Cypress automation frameworks.
- Experience implementing BDD using Cucumber / Gherkin.
- Strong programming knowledge in Python / Java / JavaScript (depending on framework).
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to AI-enabled QA tools (e.g., test generation, code assistants, intelligent test maintenance).
- Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools or security testing basics.
- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms or containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
