Test House Engineer- R&D @ Exide

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1.Plan and execute testing schedules to ensure optimum utilisation of test house equipment and facilities.

2. Maintain test equipment, calibration systems, and compliance with 5S and NABL accreditation requirements.

3. Apply domain knowledge of battery testing standards and methodologies to validate product performance and reliability.

4. Manage test house documentation, reporting, and communication of technical results to R&D leadership and stakeholders.

Functional Expertise

1. Understanding of battery products, components, manufacturing processes, and validation methodologies relevant to the assigned technical stream.

2. Familiarity with quality systems, audit requirements, and regulatory standards applicable to battery manufacturing and allied industries.

3. Capability to work effectively in cross functional teams and manage technical interfaces across departments and stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-4 years of experience in product testing within battery, automotive, or manufacturing environments.
