Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Video Editor to manage the end-to-end production process of video content. The ideal candidate will have experience in producing long-
form videos, scripting, and a basic understanding of editing tools. This role requires a strong eye for visual storytelling, the ability to commission stories, and efficient project management skills to ensure execution from ideation to publishing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire video production process, from conceptualization to final publishing.
- Develop and execute long-form video content, ensuring high-quality storytelling.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and video editors to create engaging content.
- Identify compelling visual stories, commission them, and assign them to editors.
- Ensure a smooth workflow between teams, meeting deadlines effectively.
- Review and provide feedback on edits to maintain quality and brand standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video production.
Requirements:
- Experience in video production, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of scripting, storytelling, and content structuring.
- Basic knowledge of video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- A keen eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in digital media, broadcasting, or branded content production.
- Knowledge of emerging video formats and social media trends.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
