As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying quality processes and leveraging automation tools and methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. The role centers on managing the entire quality engineering function with a strong emphasis on automation, aiming to elevate control, accuracy, and integrity throughout the testing lifecycle. This position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless integration of automated testing practices and to drive improvements in product quality and delivery efficiency.Roles Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements within the testing framework.
- Mentor junior team members to develop their skills and understanding of automation best practices.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing strategies with project goals and timelines.Professional Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Selenium.
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices.
- Ability to integrate automated tests with continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting automation scripts to ensure reliability and performance.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
