Role Overview
We are seeking a technically strong and hands-on Technical Project Manager Digitalization Projects to lead the design, governance, and execution of enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives including AI applications through custom application development. This role blends technical leadership, delivery leadership, governance and project management to ensure successful implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing digital solutions. The candidate will guide in-house development teams, manage outsourced partners, and play a critical role in shaping the organizations digitalization strategy with a focus on modernization, compliance, and business value. Prior experience as a developer or technical lead is essential, along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions. Exposure to AI/ML projects for manufacturing use casessuch as Computer Vision, Operations Research, Dynamic Programming, Demand Forecasting, and Dynamic Pricingwill be a strong advantage. Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, LLMs, and Agentic AI frameworks will further differentiate the candidate.
Key Responsibilities Project Management
- Oversee project management for major digitalization initiatives across various business areas.
- Offer technical governance for customized application platforms, suggesting enhancements to boost performance and reliability.
- Serve as the escalation contact for technical delivery challenges, resolving any technical obstacles that arise.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to uncover opportunities for digital transformation and automate processes.
- Convert business requirements into scalable, well-governed AI-driven digital solutions in alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Develop project schedules and budgets, securing necessary approvals.
- Monitor project progress in terms of timelines and costs.
- Coordinate efforts between business and technical stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle.
- Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation plans to address potential issues proactively.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and security standards throughout the project.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and project outcomes to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage resource allocation and resolve conflicts to optimize team performance and project delivery.
- Support change management efforts, including user training, adoption strategies, and documentation for new digital solutions.
- Capture lessons learned and best practices at project closeout to inform future digitalization initiatives.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, data, and integration teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Technical Work Domain-
- Lead and mentor internal development teams building custom digitalization solutions and enterprise applications.
- Responsible for end-to-end technical delivery for digital transformation initiatives.
- Review, monitor, and validate deliverables from outsourced/partner-led development teams to ensure quality and compliance.
- Manage Azure AI Foundry workspaces, compute, and model endpoints.
- Establish and enforce enterprise standards for security, scalability, and maintainability across custom applications.
- Drive reusability through design templates, component libraries, and solution accelerators for digitalization projects.
- Define best practices for documentation, testing, and architectural reviews for custom applications.
- Lead a team of developers and business analysts to ensure end-to-end delivery of working systems within timelines and budgets.
