About the Role:
We are looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead and scale our General Insurance business. This role involves managing sales teams, driving revenue growth, and building strong distribution channels across Motor and Non-Motor Insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve business targets
- Drive sales for Motor & Non-Motor Insurance products
- Develop and expand agency, partner, and corporate channels
- Set targets, monitor performance, and ensure team productivity
- Build strong relationships with key clients and partners
- Plan and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue
- Ensure smooth coordination with operations for policy issuance
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities
- Ensure compliance with IRDA guidelines and company policies
Key Requirements:
- 24 years of experience in General Insurance / BFSI Sales
- Minimum 12 years of experience in team handling
- Strong knowledge of Motor and Non-Motor Insurance products
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage pressure and deliver results consistently
- Graduation required.
Preferred Profile:
- Experience in Agency / Channel Sales / Direct Sales
- Existing network in insurance or financial services is a plus
- Strong team-building and mentoring skills
