The Job:

The Key Accounts Manager assumes sales leadership responsibility for planning, development, and implementation of all sales strategies for all HECV customers for the region. He/she will focus on continuous innovation and profitable above-market growth, including long- and short-term revenue planning He/she will develop and expedite strategies to grow revenue and market share with the respective OEMs and Tier Customers. In addition, the incumbent will strategize to penetrate different sectors/countries for our fastener business. He/she will be responsible for the implementation of Global processes as per corporate guideline.

Responsible for driving sales and business development of industrial fasteners to major OEMs and end-users in the West region of India. The candidate will focus on building and managing relationships with clients in heavy equipment, off-highway, engine manufacturing, trucking, and renewable energy sectors, ensuring revenue growth and market share expansion.


Youll get to:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for fasteners in the targeted industrial segments.
  • Identify and engage with key OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and large end-users.
  • Manage existing accounts and develop new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, supply chain, customer service) to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Achieve sales targets, manage pricing, and negotiate contracts.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.

You also have:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Mechanical/Automotive preferred).
  • 7-10 years of sales experience in industrial fasteners or related products.
  • Proven track record in handling sales for Heavy Equipment, Off-highway, Engines, Trucks, or Renewable Energy sectors.
  • Experience with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers in the West region is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical understanding of fasteners and their applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.

Preferred Attributes

  • Existing network in the relevant industrial sectors.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the West region.
  • Knowledge of local languages (Marathi, Gujarati) is a plus.
