Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and implement solutions using standard technologies aligned with cloud and DevOps practices.
Ensure solutions meet customer requirements with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance in cloud environments.
Identify end-to-end impacts of infrastructure and application changes across cloud platforms and services.
Deliver robust, automated, and secure deployments that fulfill both functional and non-functional business needs.
Maintain and deliver agreed-upon quality standards through continuous integration, monitoring, and proactive issue resolution.
Maintain a strong customer service focus, ensuring operational excellence and responsiveness in cloud and DevOps support.
Consistently deliver a positive customer experience by ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of cloud-based systems and services.
Build and sustain productive relationships with stakeholders, including development teams, operations, and business units, to align on goals and expectations. - Proactively manage change, issues, and risks in cloud environments through structured processes, automation, and continuous monitoring.
Ensure effective utilization, time recording, and work forecasting to support operational planning and resource management.
Provide accurate estimates for development and infrastructure tasks, enabling better sprint planning and delivery timelines.
Maintain transparent tracking and forecasting of work progress using DevOps tools and dashboards to ensure visibility and accountability.
Proactively ensure security of deployed software and infrastructure by integrating security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline and cloud configurations.
Provide reliable release support, ensuring smooth deployments, rollback strategies, and post-release monitoring.
Continuously improve operational efficiency through automation, performance tuning, and process optimization across cloud and DevOps workflows.
Preferred candidate profile
Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering and DevOps, with a strong focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS)including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, and particularly Amazon EKS for Kubernetes orchestration.
Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, enabling scalable and maintainable cloud infrastructure.
Proficient in CI/CD pipeline development, scripting with Bash and Python, and using configuration management tools to automate deployments and streamline operations.
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud fundamentals and services. Experienced with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration for modern application delivery.
Strong understanding of cloud networking, security best practices, and cost optimization strategies across cloud environments.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a track record of working effectively both independently and within collaborative team environments.
