Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy optical communication systems using Ciena's 6500 and 3800 platforms.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement fiber optic networks for telecom operators.
  
• Conduct site surveys to identify installation requirements for optical equipment at customer sites.
  
• Troubleshoot issues related to DWDM, OTN, CWDM, and other optical networking technologies.
  
• Provide technical support for fault management activities such as fault analysis and resolution.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in Optical Fiber/Fiber Optics/Optical Networking domain with expertise in Ciena's 6500 and 3800 platforms.
  
• Strong understanding of DWDM, OTN, CWDM, Optical Communication principles.
  
• Experience working on Telecom Operator projects involving planning & execution of fiber optic network rollouts.
