Job Description
Key Skills: Robot Framework, Selenium, Rest API, Python, Linux, DevOps, CICD
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans aligned with requirements.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Python.
- Perform web application automation testing using Selenium or Puppeteer.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Work closely with development teams to identify defects early in the lifecycle.
- Maintain test artefacts, defect reports, and traceability in JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.
- Analyze test results, track defects, and support release readiness.
- Follow best practices in DevOps and shift-left testing approaches.
Skills Required:
- Expertise in software verification and validation (V&V) methodologies
- Strong programming skills in Python for automation scripting
- Experience with Robot Framework and Selenium for automated testing
- Knowledge of API testing, particularly REST APIs
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI for automated test integration
- Understanding of DevOps practices and shift-left testing approaches
- Experience in test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent
- Ability to analyze test results, track defects, and ensure release readiness
- Knowledge of Linux environments for test execution and automation
- Strong collaboration skills to work closely with development teams
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality software delivery
- Strong experience in software testing with a focus on Verification & Validation.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
