Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable solutions for developer portal modernization with focus on merchant onboarding and payment gateway integration.
- Define and implement microservice-based architectures leveraging RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and Apollo Federation.
- Lead the adoption of event-driven systems and cloud-native applications across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Establish and enforce DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automated deployments.
- Ensure robust security, encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms across all systems.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, design, and architecture.
- Drive transformation initiatives, influencing senior leadership and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee project execution, resource allocation, and people management to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Proven experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and Apollo Federation.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of payment systems, banking systems, or fintech products.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and DevOps practices (CI/CD tools, automation).
- Strong grasp of security principles including encryption, authentication, and authorization.
- Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and drive organizational transformation.
Good to Have
- Experience with RDBMS and vector databases.
- Familiarity with Next.js and React.js for front-end integration.
- Project and people management experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
