Power BI DeveloperYears of Experience: 3-5 Years
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with 3-5 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that drive business insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, DAX, and data integration, with a proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Dashboard & Reporting Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end Power BI dashboards and reports, from requirement gathering to deployment and support.
- Implement interactive, visually compelling, and performance-optimized dashboards aligned with business KPIs.
- Manage report lifecycle including enhancements, performance tuning, and production support.
- Data Modeling & DAX:
- Create robust data models using star/snowflake schema principles.
- Develop advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and tables for complex business logic.
- Optimize DAX and model performance for large datasets.
- Data Integration & Engineering:
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Design and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
- Work with Google BigQuery as a data source for analytical reporting.
- Consume and integrate data from REST APIs and other external systems.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and leadership to understand reporting requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions and provide data-driven insights.
- Conduct dashboard walkthroughs, user training, and documentation.
- Governance & Best Practices:
- Implement Power BI best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
- Manage row-level security (RLS) and dataset refresh strategies.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reporting standards.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development and reporting.
- Strong experience with Data Modelling and DAX techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with BigQuery as a data source.
- Familiarity with REST API and data integration techniques.
- Knowledge of Identify Governance & Administration and best practices in reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Power BI development and data analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
