Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced professionals with strong hands-on expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in invoice processing, billing accuracy, AR reconciliation, and contract/SOW-based billing within a fast-paced finance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end AR and billing processes.
- Create, validate, and post customer invoices accurately as per contracts/SOW.
- Handle credit notes, debit notes, and billing adjustments.
- Perform AR reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support month-end and period-end close activities.
- Ensure adherence to billing schedules and SLAs.
- Interpret contracts, rate cards, and pricing structures for accurate billing.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, sales, operations) for issue resolution.
- Maintain high accuracy and quality standards in billing operations.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in AR/Billing and O2C cycle.
- Hands-on experience in invoice processing and validation.
- Knowledge of AR reconciliation and collections support.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, MS Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar tools.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
- 25 years of relevant experience in AR/Billing/O2C roles.
- Experience in shared services or finance operations environments preferred.
Preferred Background:
- Candidates from Shared Services, Finance Operations, or O2C/AR teams.
- Experience with contract-based or project-based billing environments.
