Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Development Manager to lead our R&D team in the decorative paints division of Berger Paints India Ltd, a British paints company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and development, with a focus on decorative paints.
Roles and Responsibility
- Develop and implement new products and technologies in the decorative paints industry.
- Lead and manage a team of researchers and developers to achieve project goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to identify business opportunities.
- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment and resources for efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D, preferably in the decorative paints industry.
- Strong knowledge of chemical properties and their application in paint technology.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions to drive business outcomes.
