Job Title: Assistant Manager Taxation
Experience: 45 Years
Location: Malad West , Mumbai
Qualification : CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA is Must.
Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Manager Taxation to manage and support the companys direct and indirect tax compliance. The role involves handling GST, TDS, tax filings, assessments, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.
Key Responsibilities :
Direct Tax Compliance
- Manage TDS computation, payment, and return filings
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax provisions
- Assist in tax assessments, notices, and litigation matters
- Coordinate with consultants and auditors for tax matters
Indirect Tax (GST)
- Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
- Reconciliation of GST returns with books of accounts
- Monitor input tax credit (ITC) and ensure compliance
- Handle GST notices and departmental queries
Tax Planning & Advisory
- Assist in tax planning and optimization
- Interpret tax laws and provide internal guidance
- Monitor changes in tax regulations and compliance requirements
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain proper tax records and documentation
- Ensure timely statutory filings and payments
- Support during internal and statutory audits
Required Skills :
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions
- Experience with tax return filing and reconciliation
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Tally/ERP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
