THE ROLE We're looking for an HIS Implementation Manager a hands-on, ownership-driven professional who will lead the end-to-end deployment of our Hospital Information System (HIS) at client hospitals.
Reporting to the Regional Manager HIS Operations, you will be the single point of accountability from project kickoff through go-live and stabilisation configuring the product to hospital workflows, training clinical and non-clinical staff, managing timelines, and ensuring every hospital goes live on time and adopts the platform successfully.
This is a high-impact, on-ground role that directly shapes how hospitals experience NuvertOS. You'll spend significant time at client sites, working shoulder-to-shoulder with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, billing teams, and hospital leadership and partnering internally with Product, Engineering, Data, and Support to get things done.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Implementation & Project Management
- Own the complete implementation lifecycle for assigned hospitals from project kickoff, scoping, and planning through configuration, training, go-live, and hand-off
- Build detailed project plans with clear milestones, timelines, dependencies, and risk registers; drive weekly reviews with the client and internal teams www.nuvertos.com
- Maintain go-live readiness checklists and ensure all workstreams data migration, integrations, training, infrastructure are green before cutover
- Proactively flag risks, blockers, and scope changes; drive resolution without waiting to be asked Hospital Workflow Configuration
- Map existing hospital workflows across OPD, IPD, Pharmacy, Lab, Billing, and Front-Desk operations and translate them into product configurations
- Set up master data, user roles, department structures, and module-level settings tailored to each hospital's operating model
- Partner with Product and Engineering to close workflow gaps, configure edge cases, and ensure the product fits how the hospital actually runs Training & Change Management
- Plan and deliver role-based training for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, billing staff, and front-desk teams
classroom, floor-walk, and train-the-trainer formats - Build and maintain user guides, SOPs, and quick-reference material tailored to each hospital
- Drive adoption post-go-live monitor usage, coach users, and work with hospital champions to embed the product into daily operations Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact during implementation managing hospital CXOs, IT heads, department leads, and frontline users - Run steering committee updates, weekly status reviews, and escalation meetings with clear, data-backed communication
- Build trusted relationships that extend beyond go-live
so hospitals see NuvertOS as a long-term partner Cross-Functional Coordination & Post-Go-Live Stabilisation
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Support to unblock implementation issues and feed structured product feedback back into the roadmap - Lead hypercare post go-live triage issues, coordinate fixes, and stabilise operations
- Ensure a clean hand-off to the Customer Success and Support teams with complete documentation, open-issue logs, and account context
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must Have
- 24 years of experience in software/SaaS implementation, product deployment, or hospital IT with at least one or two end-to-end go-lives owned www.nuvertos.com | Confidential
- Strong project management skills comfortable running plans, RAID logs, status reports, and multi-workstream delivery
- Hands-on experience mapping and configuring workflows across clinical or operational modules (OPD, IPD, Pharmacy, Lab, Billing)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management can hold the room with doctors, CXOs, and frontline staff alike
- High ownership and bias for action you resolve issues on the ground rather than escalating them away
- Willingness to travel 5070% to client hospital sites within the assigned region Great to Have
- Prior experience implementing HIS, HMS, EMR, or hospital IT products at multi-specialty or chain hospitals
- Background in hospital operations, clinical systems, or healthcare consulting
- Exposure to healthcare standards and frameworks NABH, HIPAA, ABDM, HL7/FHIR
- Project management certifications
PMP, Prince2, or Agile/Scrum
- Startup or scale-up experience
