Summary
Senior-level scheduling professional specializing in Stonebranch workload automation, with strong hands-on experience in ESP-to-Stonebranch conversion projects. Responsible for end-to-end batch operations, migration strategy, scheduling design, and production support across enterprise mainframe environments. Drives automation, stability, and process optimization during and post migration.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 8+ years in mainframe batch scheduling and production support
- Strong hands-on experience in Stonebranch (UAC)
- Proven experience in ESP to Stonebranch migration / conversion projects
- In-depth understanding of job flows, dependencies, calendars, and scheduling concepts
- Experience in incident management, SLA adherence, and root cause analysis (RCA)
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and support ESP to Stonebranch conversion activities, including job analysis, mapping, and validation
- Design and implement job schedules, workflows, and dependencies in Stonebranch
- Monitor and manage end-to-end batch cycles in Stonebranch environment
- Handle critical job failures, perform ABEND analysis, and execute complex restarts
- Validate converted jobs and ensure functional equivalence post migration
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, dependency issues, and performance bottlenecks
- Ensure batch SLA adherence and proactively mitigate risks during and after migration
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
- Drive automation and optimization within Stonebranch to reduce manual interventions
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and migration teams during conversion lifecycle
- Support job onboarding, migration testing (SIT/UAT), and production cutover activities
- Maintain and update runbooks, SOPs, and migration documentation
- Provide guidance to L1/L2 teams on Stonebranch operations and best practices
