Job Title: Estimation Engineer Electrical (Lighting & Panels)
Location: Thane, Mumbai
Industry: Electrical Manufacturing
Experience: 13 Years
Salary: 3.6 4.2 LPA
Joining: Immediate or within 15 days
Job Description:
We are hiring an Estimation Engineer with experience in electrical manufacturing (lighting and panel solutions). The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, handling client requirements, and coordinating with internal teams for timely quotation submission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates and quotations for lighting and electrical panel projects
- Understand client requirements and provide timely quotation support
- Analyze technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications
- Coordinate with design, production, and purchase teams for costing inputs
- Maintain pricing database, costing sheets, and quotation records
- Follow up with clients for approvals and updates
- Visit client sites and factory when required for technical understanding
- Ensure timely submission of quotations
Preferred candidate profile
Candidate Profile:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 1+ year experience in estimation/quotation (Electrical industry preferred)
- Knowledge of lighting products and electrical panels
- Good understanding of costing and manufacturing processes
- Proficient in MS Excel and email communication
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Willing to travel for site/factory visits
