Shah Equity is building one of the most aggressive AI-native venture studios in the world: 100 companies launched in 12 months, each built by a small team of senior developers + intern co-founders sharing studio infrastructure. We need senior developers who can lead the build of 3-5 companies in parallel owning the technical decisions, managing the interns, hitting the 7-days-from-brief-to-live cadence, and using AI tools at expert level.
This is a hybrid role. The title says Project Manager because that's what many candidates search for, but the work is senior development with strong project ownership. You write code, you direct interns who write code, and you ship products. If you want to be a non-technical PM, this is not the role. If you want to be a senior developer who also leads, this is the role.
Mission
Lead the build of multiple venture studio companies in parallel. Manage intern co-founders. Ship products from brief to live in 7 days using AI build tools. Make build-vs-kill recommendations at Day 30.
90-Day Outcomes
- Lead 3-5 venture studio companies through full launch cycle (brief live 30-day measurement)
- Mentor 4+ intern co-founders to shipped MVPs
- Contribute reusable components to shared studio infrastructure
- Establish your own delivery rhythm that the rest of the team adopts
What You Bring
- 4+ years software development with demonstrable project ownership (not just IC work)
- Multiple production products you have shipped links required
- Fluency with modern AI build tools Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, Midjourney
- Comfort managing junior engineers and giving direct technical feedback
- Strong product instincts you can read a brief and identify the cheap path to validate the idea
- Communication skill you write clear specs, give clear feedback, and run clean async standups
How You'll Use AI
- AI tools are your primary multiplier. The 7-day-from-brief-to-live cadence is impossible without them.
- You evaluate new AI tools weekly and integrate the winners
- You teach interns AI-leveraged shipping modeling it is part of the job
- You use Claude or ChatGPT for spec writing, code review, debugging, and documentation
Compensation
5-12 LPA based on profile depth. Project-level equity on companies you successfully lead (3-5% per company at the operating-entity level, vesting per company per company-specific terms). Hyderabad villa hybrid option (free housing during in-person sprints). Performance bonus tied to companies launched and PMF outcomes.
Work Sample (After Initial Screen)
48 hours: build a working prototype from a brief we provide. You can use any AI tool. Submit live URL + GitHub repo + 1-page write-up of the technical and product tradeoffs you made and why. We grade on shipped quality, judgment, and the craft of the tradeoff thinking.
