Your future duties and responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Your future duties and responsibilities
At least three years' experience in PHP and with RDBMs
Strong knowledge of PHP 8, PHP Frameworks, and web application design patterns
Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS Secure Coding Practices OWASP Top 10 security risks and mitigation
Software design and architecture skills
Strong teamwork and communication skills
English B2 (written and spoken).
Primary skills: PHP - Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, SQL, Rest, JIRA, Agile, CI CD, Database concepts
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must Have:
. Experience in working with the following technologies and products PHP 7.3 and 8.2 8.3 Zend / Laminas, Symfony MySQL (Optional: MSSQL, Oracle) REST API's (Optional: Kafka) Cloud Development (Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS) Git / GitLab, Gerrit, Jenkins, Composer, CI/CD Confluence, Jira Linux HPE Voltage, Splunk
. Experience in technology and business consultancy
. Experience in the finance and/or credit card industry
. Additional Languages: German & Polish (beneficial)
Primary Skills: PHP, MySQL, Cloud, PHP 7.3/ 8.2/8.3, RES APIs
Good to have:
Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with third-party API integrations
Understanding of performance tuning and caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached)
