Job Description
Job Responsibilities Service Engineer (Kobelco Excavators)
- Perform installation, commissioning, and handover of Kobelco excavators at customer sites, ensuring proper functionality and customer understanding.
- Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) and breakdown maintenance of excavators within assigned territory to ensure maximum machine uptime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Attend to customer complaints and service calls promptly, ensuring adherence to response and resolution timelines.
- Maintain and update service reports, job cards, and maintenance logs accurately after each service activity.
- Coordinate with spare parts and logistics teams to ensure availability of required parts and minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on proper machine operation, daily checks, and maintenance practices.
- Monitor machine performance and suggest improvements or upgrades to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards, safety protocols, and OEM guidelines during all field activities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to improve satisfaction and support business growth.
- Conduct site inspections and machine audits for key customers and fleet owners.
- Support Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and warranty claim processing as per company policies.
- Train operators and site personnel on basic troubleshooting and safe operation of Kobelco equipment.
- Report market feedback, competitor activities, and customer requirements to management.
- Travel extensively within Jharkhand or assigned regions to service machines across multiple project sites.
