Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer with strong expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and advanced AI model development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building intelligent AI chatbots, integrating structured and unstructured data sources, and deploying scalable AI solutions in production environments.
This is a hybrid role based in Chennai / Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and intelligent systems for business applications.
- Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using modern AI frameworks.
- Develop scalable AI solutions leveraging vector databases and NoSQL databases.
- Work with large datasets using distributed data processing frameworks.
- Implement machine learning models using deep learning frameworks.
- Build and integrate AI pipelines using LangChain and vector database technologies.
- Optimize model performance, scalability, and inference pipelines.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using modern development practices.
- Collaborate with data engineers, ML engineers, and product teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning of AI models and data pipelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4-10 years of experience in AI engineering
- Strong experience in Vector Databases (Cosmos DB, Pinecone)
- Databases: MongoDB / NoSQL Databases
- Data Processing: PySpark, Polars
- AI Frameworks: LangChain
- Deep Learning: PyTorch / PyTorch Lightning, TensorFlow
- Testing & Development: Pytest, Poetry
- Strong proficiency in Python for AI/ML development
- Experience building scalable ML pipelines and AI applications
Preferred Skills
- Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, or RAG architectures
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and AI deployment
- Familiarity with model optimization, monitoring, and MLOps practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Relevant Experience Preferred
- IT / ITES organizations implementing AI-driven automation solutions
- Product-based companies building AI-powered applications or SaaS platforms
- Organizations developing conversational AI or enterprise chatbot solutions
- Experience in high-scale production AI deployments
- Projects involving multi-modal AI systems and structured + unstructured data integration
- Experience working in global delivery models with onsite-offshore coordination
Qualification
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field
- Relevant AI/ML certifications (added advantage)
