Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of experience to join our team at ABB Corporation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Terraform, along with a comprehensive understanding of CI/CD toolsets and cloud core services. This role requires expertise in managing high availability, automated deployments, and optimized resource management while maintaining secure access controls and patching vulnerabilities.
The candidate should be proficient in the following technologies and services:
- K3s: Ensuring high availability and secure access controls.
- Cert Manager: Automating certificate issuance and renewal.
- Traefik: Managing traffic routing and optimizing performance.
- Longhorn: Providing HA storage solutions with automated backups.
- Velero: Implementing scheduled backups and disaster recovery drills.
- FluxCD: Automating deployment synchronization with Git repositories.
- Kube-VIP and Spegel: Enhancing API server accessibility and monitoring.
- Wiz: Strengthening security posture and managing vulnerabilities.
Additional skills include AWS Q Developer, Docker, GitHub, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Tools, Linux Server, Monitoring Systems Engineering, Network Security, and Scripting Languages. Strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage time effectively and develop positive relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in DevOps practices and tools.
This position is based in Bangalore and requires onsite presence. Remote work and relocation are not allowed.
