Job Description

Required Skills and Experience

23 years of IT experience, with a focus on application monitoring and alerting.
Hands-on expertise with AppDynamics (AppD) and Splunk.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in incident management and root cause analysis.
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices (preferred).

Key Responsibilities

Configure and manage application monitoring tools, including AppDynamics (AppD) and Splunk.
Monitor application health, performance, and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Analyse alerts and logs to provide actionable insights and support incident response.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to enhance monitoring coverage and optimise alerting thresholds.
Document monitoring processes, incident responses, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Review and maintain monitoring dashboards and reports for accuracy and relevance.
Participate in incident management and root cause analysis.
