Hiring Experienced Ipdrg Medical Coder / Medical Coding @ Coronis Ajuba

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced IPDRG Medical Coder to review inpatient medical records and assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes as per IPDRG guidelines. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper DRG assignment to support accurate billing and reimbursement.

Role & responsibilities :

• Review inpatient case sheets, discharge summaries, and clinical documentation
  
• Assign accurate ICD-10 diagnosis and procedure codes
  
• Ensure correct IPDRG grouping and reimbursement classification
  
• Identify complications and comorbidities impacting DRG assignment
  
• Raise physician queries for incomplete or unclear documentation
  
• Maintain coding accuracy as per quality benchmarks (95%+)
  
• Support audit and compliance requirements

Preferred candidate profile :

• Certification in Medical Coding (CPC / CCS / CIC ) for Chennai and Hyderabad Location & Non Certified IPDRG Coders only for Chennai Location

• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding
  
• Good understanding of IPDRG methodology
  
• Knowledge of anatomy & medical terminology
  
• Experience in inpatient coding
  
• Good communication and analytical skills
