Job Title: Prior Authorization Specialist

Shift Time: Indian Night Shift
Location: Hyderabad

Job Summary:
We are hiring experienced Prior Authorization (PA) Specialists with strong expertise in drug/prescription/Medication authorizations. The candidate should be able to handle high volumes, ensure quick turnaround, and work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end prior authorization requests for medications
• Verify insurance eligibility and submit accurate PA requests
• Collect clinical documents (ICD/CPT, notes, labs) to avoid denials
• Handle denials, resubmissions, and appeals
• Coordinate with providers, payers, and internal teams

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Prior Authorization (Drug/Px focused)
• Experience handling 30-70+ cases/day
• Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Athena, eCW, etc.)
• Strong understanding of insurance verification & denial management
• Good written English communication

Preferred:

• Experience in specialties like Gastro, Rheumatology, Urology, Cardiology, Pain management
• Exposure to biologics / specialty drugs
