Position: Chemist / Sr. Chemist - QC (HPLC QC / QC Analysis) API / Bulk Drugs / Advanced Intermediates
Department: QC
Reporting To: Manager QC
Location: Badlapur, Maharashtra
Job Profile:
- Candidates will be responsible for HPLC QC activities for API, Bulk Drugs & Advanced Intermediates.
- Analytical Testing & Instrument Handling.
- Perform routine and non-routine analysis of API / Bulk Drugs, raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and stability samples.
- Sampling and testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products using HPLC / GC instrumental techniques as appropriate.
- Monitoring of samples and routine analysis.
- Calibration of Analytical instruments.
- CGMP working knowledge in quality control laboratory.
- Observing and complying with GLP, GMP, SOPs & EHS policies
- Supporting all QC activities
- Ensuring that procedures are carried out carefully and accurately to eliminate errors.
- Working with all members of staff to maintain and develop the positive progressive culture within The Specials Laboratory.
- Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external customers.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
Desired Profile:
- B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry) with 2 to 5 years experienced in Quality Control in API / Bulk Drugs / Advanced Intermediates / Speciality Chemicals with well-known Pharma API / Bulk Drugs companies.
- Highly proficient in the use of key analytical equipment (HPLC & GC) and the testing of finished products.
- Expert operation and troubleshooting of HPLC & GC.
- Maintain analytical records as per cGMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements.
- Good IT skills e.g. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Credible and confident communicator (written and verbal) at all levels.
- Highly customer focused and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to achieve and maintain high standards with meticulous attention to detail.
- First class planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment, adhering to strict deadlines/timescales.
- Committed to learning and development.
