Job Description
We are hiring for Egocentric Video Data Collection
Job Title: Data Collection Process (Work From Home)
Locations: Remote
Work Instructions Egocentric Video Recording
- Record egocentric (first-person) videos while performing various household tasks.
- Check the Sample Videos Given in The Sample video FIle at the Top
- Make Sure to have a Reliable good Internet connection for Automatic Upload.
- To be eligible for the payout, you must complete at least 20 hours of productive work per Executive within a maximum of 7 days.
- Incentives will be provided if more than 24 hours of unique tasks is completed within 6 days.
Video Recording Guidelines
- Videos must be recorded indoors only (or in Terrace of the Building)
- Lighting should be consistent throughout the recording.
- Shadowing on hands or objects should be avoided.
- Reflections (mirrors, glass surfaces, highly reflective objects) are not permitted.
- Narration or voice-over is NOT required.
Task Duration
- Each video clip should be a minimum of 6-7 minutes or more in duration.
- The video task can ideally be between 20 and 35 minutes.
- Incomplete or significantly shorter recordings may be rejected during QC
Hand Visibility Requirements
- Hands should be visible for the majority of the task duration.
- Minor instances of hands going out of frame for up to 1-2 seconds are acceptable
- Hands may go out of frame if required by the nature of the task, provided task continuity is maintained.
- An extended or unnecessary absence of hands from the frame may result in rejection.
Identity & Privacy Requirements
- No face exposure is permitted at any point.
- No personally identifiable information (PII) should be visible or disclosed, including but not limited to:

Phone numbers
Any information that can directly or indirectly identify an individual
- Use of generic or anonymised identifiers is permitted.
- No spoken personal information should be captured.
Video Acceptance Criteria
All submitted videos will undergo QC review before acceptance.
Videos may be rejected if they include:
- Face exposure or identity-revealing information
- Visible reflections
- Poor or inconsistent lighting that affects visibility
- Excessive shadowing on hands or task objects
- An extended absence of hands from the frame without task justification
