Position Summary... Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Job Summary:
This role is an Individual Contributor (IC) responsible for finance business partnering with Walmart US Commercial Finance teams. The role involves financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and performance management to support strategic decision-making and drive business outcomes. The incumbent will provide insights into risks and opportunities while ensuring financial discipline and governance .
About the Team:
Finance CoE team at Walmart Global Tech Bangalore provides end-to-end FP&A support to Commercial Finance teams across Walmart segments including Walmart US, Sam s Club, International, and Corporate. The team drives financial planning, reporting, analytics, and transformation initiatives with a strong focus on accuracy, governance, and business impact.
What You ll Do:
- Partner with WMT US Commercial Finance teams to support planning, forecasting, and performance management
- Drive financial planning cycles (weekly/monthly/quarterly) including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Perform variance analysis, cost center analysis, and provide actionable insights on risks & opportunities
- Build financial models and support P&L management, consolidation, and reporting
- Lead stakeholder discussions and influence decision-making through data-driven insights
- Ensure compliance, process governance, and continuous improvement in FP&A processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage technology (SAP, Power-BI, GenAI tools) for finance transformation
What You ll Bring:
- CA with 5 6 years of relevant FP&A experience (mandatory)
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities
- Proven experience in stakeholder management with global teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Hands-on experience in AI, financial systems (SAP / Hyperion / Essbase / OneStream) , Power-BI and advanced Excel
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrix environment
